This is a great place. I love coming to this place. I started coming here when they first opened up. I want to say maybe 20 years or closer to 20 years. The food there is phenomenal the the seven sea soup Chapuzo I don't think I spelled it right but it's a great dish combination of shrimp, raw oysters, some chipotle, chili, and some garlic bread to go with it Mexican garlic bread

Good food, not much else to say , one of the original Mexican seafood places in Chicago!

Great food! Service was alright, not the best. And ambience, clean and comfortable

Amazing seafood! Fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Cozy atmosphere and attentive staff. Highly recommend!

I got the camarones zarandeados and they were incredible. If I just had this, I would have given a 5. But my boyfriend's cocktail de camaron was underwhelming, we've had better elsewhere. But they give you free ceviche tostadas as an appetizer and they were incredible. The servers are very friendly and prompt. The other reason I am giving a 5 is because they have live entertainment (singing and/or guitar players), that is really loud. Also they come around asking for money and tips which I was not a fan of. So most of the food is incredible, but I'll probably carry out next time.

BYOB place. Best seafood we have ever had. The portion was great. We order 3 plates for 4 people and it was just enough for us

Came here thanks to a recommendation from someone in San Jose California. Any time you eat marisco's you have the chance of getting sick when it is old or not prepared properly. Scary I know. Well luckily everything came out perfect. Street parking is available. Loud live music was being played the Saturday I arrived. Servers were prompt and got the food out quickly. They gave free complimentary fish toastada. They do not serve alcoholic drinks here, but the food makes up for it. Aguachile - spicy as heck Mixta toastada - $9 good. Heavy on the soy sauce Battered Fried shrimp plate - lots of rice, veggies, fries, and a decent amount of shrimps Bacon wrapped shrimp plate - another hefty plate. Sangria special - $12 expensive but hits the spot. Expensive because it's non alcoholic. I would so come back next time I am in Chicago. The prices are reasonable for the amount of food they serve you.
